How to Use the MushBag

The process is simple:

1. Inoculation

Inject your chosen spores or liquid culture through the built-in injection port (sold separately).

2. Colonisation

Allow the mycelium to grow. Once the bag reaches around 30% colonisation, mix the contents thoroughly.

3. Fruiting

After full colonisation, fruit mushrooms:

• directly from the bag

• inside a fruiting chamber

• or using the optional fruiting tent provided

With our easy step-by-step guide, you won’t need to rely on outdated forums or confusing instructions.

Recommended Growing Conditions

Temperature

• Colonisation: 24–27°C (75–80°F)

• Fruiting: 21–24°C (70–75°F)

Humidity

Maintain 90–95%+ humidity for healthy, large mushrooms.

Light

• Colonisation: Darkness preferred

• Fruiting: Indirect or ambient light is sufficient

Fresh Air Exchange (FAE)

Good airflow prevents CO₂ buildup and supports proper fruit development.

Sterility

Clean handling is essential to prevent competing fungi or bacteria.
