reaches a new level in LED lighting and Lumatek have raised the bar higher than ever before. It is designed for 1.5 x 1.5 optimal coverage with supplemental CO2 for maximum efficacy and results. These lights are considerably brighter than any other. The linear multi-bar fixture produces immensely high levels of PPF of 2925 µmol/s and a photon efficacy of 2.9 µmol/J. Meaning this light has the same amount of µmol/s as up to three 600w HID lights!
This LED fixture balances light quality with light quantity (intensity and duration) delivering a uniform spread of light and an even light distribution. The R&D that Lumatek have spent on this light are visible with the significant advances in technology and fixture performance, now offering high quality LED as a credible option for growers, offering significant return on investment.
The powerfully high level of intense light requires the use of supplemental CO2 for any grower who plans to grow within a 1.5 x 1.5m area with short distances from the canopy to the light.
The use of CO2 with this lighting fixture is not compulsory. However, Lumatek recommend that if you are choosing not to supplement with CO2, you should create a longer canopy distance to the light, ensuring optimised PPFD levels accordingly to the grow stage. When used correctly, the supplemental use of CO2 in your growing environment can dramatically improve the quality and abundance of your yield. In general, a good rule is that once you exceed 1000 µmol/s/m2 PPFD levels, you should be 1:1 with CO2 PPM – up to 1500. So, at max PPFD = 1500 µmol/s/m2, CO2 would be 1500 PPM (a little lower, 1400 PPM may be the safest to start).
The Zeus generates a full-spectrum light source, ideal for veg and flowering cycles. They are designed and built using top quality Lumatek drivers and the latest generation top bin LEDs from Lumileds, Philips and Osram. Another impressive new feature of the Zeus line is the Clear Glue protection cover technology on the LED bars. This ensures higher light transmittance of 99% without the loss of light, extended lifetime diodes, higher corrosion resistance and a high waterproof of IP65. To keep the LED bars optimised, simply clean the bars with wet cotton.
You can dim the Zeus for differe nt plant varieties, propagation and vegetative growth periods, without losing efficacy. You can now reduce the temperature of LEDs, increasing the output and improving light maintenance with the highly efficient and low powered LED configuration with 10 LED bars.
The Lumatek Zeus Pro 1000w is perfect for a 1.5m² area. Making it highly compatible with either the BudBox Pro XL Plus Tent, or BudBox Pro Plus HL Tent. Where possible we recommend using the ‘HL’ version as a taller tent to gives more flexibility in terms of how you can grow your plants as well as generally having that bit more space. However, many growers choose to run two or more lights. In which case a larger tent will be required. Please check out our range of Grow Tents to find the perfect solution for your grow space. When you first place your plants under your LED lights, we recommend either turning down the power or placing your lights at a slightly higher distance from the light to the top of the canopy. Keep an eye on your plants and over the next few days the light height can be slowly reduced, or the power can be slowly increased. If your plants show any sign of stress e.g. wilting or leaf discolouring you should increase the height accordingly.
All Lumatek LED lighting fixtures can be used alongside the Lumatek Control Panel Plus. This innovative control panel gives you a central point to automate switching, timing, dimming and stimulate sunrise and sunset periods. Temperature control dimming and switching for safety control and automated light intensity and PPFD. With this controller you will be able to connect 100 LED drivers or fixtures (50 drivers per channel – Zone A and B)
The included controller has four output settings: 25%, 50%, 75% and 100%. It is possible to control the Zeus with any other control system that uses 0-10V output signal. Please note: Even if your universal controller has an RJ port interface, you can still run these LEDs by using a signal converter RJ to 0-10V control adapter.
The units boast a 60,000 hour lifespan, so you can achieve over 13 years of use from these lights. Unlike HPS lights, there is very little degradation overtime, this means that not only will you not have to physically change bulbs, but your diodes will still be producing near on the same output, year in, year out, just like they did when new, degrading around only 1-3% per year!
Lumatek LED solutions can save up to 40% on electricity and studies indicate that LED-lit canopies can generate more yield per kWh and using LED lighting may experience yield increases and changes in cannabinoid and terpene profiles, leading to more consistent medicinal product profiles from each harvest. The LEDs are very efficient, and the less wattage equals less heat into the space, allowing for potentially lower extraction loads and operating expense. Lumatek LED drivers are intelligent and feature full circuit protection including over/under voltage, short circuit and over temperature protection. The drivers also feature auto-power increase/decrease to match the amount of light bars connected to fixture. All Lumatek LED fixtures are CE certified LVD and EMC compliant.
