Product Description
Coir makes an ideal peat-free potting compost used for rooting a wide range of plants. For propagation: Add 10-20% by volume of perlite, We would recommend using Chempak 'Seed base fertiliser' @ the manufacturer's recommendations with regard to quantity.
For Potting: We have found adding 10-15% sterilised loam enables the coir compost to hold the fertiliser for much longer. Coir is not colloidal (fertiliser does not stick to it) so regular feeding will be required when the mixture only consists of coir.
