The Black Box 6 Way Contactor is a professional heavy duty lighting control unit, enabling you to run 6 x 250w, 400w, 600w or 4 x 1000w grow lights.
Simple timers you may use in your house for desk lamps etc are NOT good enough to run high power grow lights, this is because a normal domestic timer unit cannot withstand the high electrical conductive load required to ignite the HID lighting. These contactors handle the power while switching your lights on and off as per your instructions through the Grasslin timers built into them, so no more worrying about if your lights have come on or gone of again.
Just plug your lights in, plug the contactor in, set the timer and leave them do there job, simple.
Includes switchable sockets as well so you can run less light without having to unplug any.
